You might remember Danny Tamberelli and Mike Maronna from 90’s classics like “All That“, “Figure it Out“, “Igby Goes Down“, “The Mighty Ducks“, “Slackers” or “Home Alone“, just to name a few. But chances are you remember them as “Pete’s” in Nickelodeon’s “The Adventures of Pete & Pete“, where they played sharp-tongued brothers bent on adventure. Well, times have changed and the guys are all grown up — but that doesn’t mean that the adventures have stopped! Join them for their weekly podcast “The Adventures of Danny and Mike” where they wander out into the world in search of their next great adventure. The podcast is produced by Jeremy Balon and is a part of the FeralAudio.com podcast collective.
Danny Tamberelli (Host) unlike other child stars, didn’t wind up with an “E! True Hollywood Story” chronicling self-destructive fits and other mishaps and meltdowns. Tamberelli was 11 when he starred in the quirky Nickelodeon show “The Adventures of Pete & Pete.” On the set, the young actor/musician had his amp blown up by Iggy Pop, got served ice-cream from Michael Stipe and traded CD’s with Steve Buscemi. Nowadays he tours with his band Jounce and produces sketch comedy with his group ManBoobs Comedy. (@dtamberelli)
Michael C. Maronna (Host) played Pete Wrigley in the television show The Adventures of Pete & Pete on Nickelodeon, as well as the character of Jeff McCallister in the movie Home Alone and its sequel, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. He also portrayed a teenage killer in an episode of Law & Order. More recently, Maronna appeared in the movies Slackers and 40 Days and 40 Nights as well as numerous music videos. In addition to acting, Mike works in the Electric Department for Feature Films and Television in the NYC area. (@michaelcmaronna)
Jeremy Balon (Producer) not only produces The Adventures of Danny & Mike podcast, but the Fresh Beef podcast as well. He also writes/performs comedy with Tamberelli in the sketch group ManBoobs Comedy. Jeremy began his career as a Property Master and has over 15 years of experience in the New York film industry, working with such names as Bob Odenkirk (Mr. Show), David Wain (The State, Stella) and Jason Sudeikis (SNL) among others. In addition, Jeremy performs music under the nickname Remy Balon and had two songs featured on the 2006 Oscar Nominated Film “Half Nelson” and its accompanying soundtrack on Lakeshore Records.
